Volunteer Opportunities
A not-for-profit oganization is only as good as its
members. Camp Tuckabatchee is fortunate to
have many volunteers who help ensure a well
maintained camp and completion of special projects.
Time as well as skill are both valuable assets and
volunteers give freely of both.In addition to maintenance of our facility, the
Board of Directors of Camp Tuckabatchee
organize our yearly fund raising opportunities.
Tuckabatchee Quilters Little Cabin in theWoods Quilt Show Saturday, April 2, 10 am -5 pm Sunday, April 3, 10 am -3 pm St.
Columba School Ottawa, ILOpen House Sunday, May 6, 1-5pm Camp Tuckabatchee is open to the public this day. Tours are offered, camper families
can meet staff and board members and register for summer camp.Benefit Flea & Craft Market Saturday, May 26& Sunday May 27 9am - 5pm Downtown Ottawa, IL Vendors pay a fee for their
space and sell their wares in an outdoor setting. 2007 will be our 23rd year to sponsor this event.Family Fun Horse Show Sunday, June 3, 9am and Sunday, August 19 Located at the Ottawa 4-H Fair Grounds. All horsement welcome.
30+ classes. 2007 will be the 8th year for this fundraising event.Haunted Camp October 21, 22, 23, & 27, 28, 29 7-10 PM Located at Camp Tuckabatchee This is our largest fundraiser and is for
the brave at heart.Family Halloween Party Sunday, October 30 1-5 PM Bring the whole family. Our haunted camp is not so scary and we have fun
activities for the whole family.
